Why Volunteer for Farm Cornwall at the Royal Cornwall Show?

March 27, 2026

The Royal Cornwall Show, taking place on 4th, 5th and 6th June 2026, is one of the biggest and best events in the county and this year, you could be right at the heart of it with Farm Cornwall.

As one of the Charities of the Year, we have a unique opportunity to collect donations across the entire showground. This is an exclusive opportunity shared only with one other charity, meaning we can reach more people than ever before and raise vital funds to support Cornwall’s farming community.

Make a real difference (while enjoying the show)

By volunteering, you’ll be helping us support farmers, farm workers and rural families across Cornwall who are facing real challenges. Every conversation you have and every donation you collect helps us continue this work.

A few hours = a full day at the show

Volunteer for a 4-hour shift and you’ll receive a free ticket for the day.

Shift options:
Morning shift: 9:00am – 1:00pm
Afternoon shift: 1:00pm – 5:00pm

Once your shift is finished, you’re free to enjoy the rest of the show.

Get out and about across the showground

You’ll be out and about in pairs, moving around your allocated area, chatting to visitors, raising awareness and collecting donations. It’s a great way to meet people and be part of the energy of the show. Each pair will be assigned a collection zone across the showground.

Join a friendly, supportive team

You’ll receive a briefing before the event and be supported throughout the day. No experience is needed, just a positive attitude and a willingness to get involved.
