Farm Cornwall is the only Cornwall based charity dedicated solely to supporting farmers, farm workers, farming families and rural communities across Cornwall.
For 25 years, we have provided practical, confidential support to people involved in agriculture who are facing complex personal, financial and business challenges.
As pressures on the agricultural sector continue to grow, so does demand for our services. We work directly with individuals and families across Cornwall, offering one-to-one advice, outreach visits, workshops and training. We help farmers navigate change, access funding opportunities, strengthen their businesses, support wellbeing and maintain high standards of animal welfare.
Over 600 farming families have received support from Farm Cornwall.
In 2024-2025 alone, we supported 113 farms, carried out 279 farm visits and travelled 35,000 miles to reach rural and often isolated communities across Cornwall.
Why support Farm Cornwall?
Demand for support is increasing, and the needs of farmers and rural families are becoming more complex and long-term. Each case we support costs the charity approximately £1,000, reflecting the depth of practical, confidential and tailored support required. Support from local people, businesses and organisations helps ensure that farmers, farm workers and rural families across Cornwall can continue to access the help they need when it matters most.
Support our 25th anniversary year
To mark our 25th anniversary, we are inviting organisations and individuals to support Farm Cornwall through our Silver 25 and Gold 25 Funds. These opportunities are designed to recognise supporters who want to stand with Cornwall’s farming community and invest in its future.
Silver 25 Fund
The Silver 25 Fund is a one-off donation opportunity for supporters who would like to make a meaningful contribution during our 25th anniversary year.
A donation of up to £1,000 through the Silver 25 Fund will help Farm Cornwall continue providing practical advice, training, outreach and confidential support to farmers and rural families across the county.
Silver 25 supporters will receive:
- Recognition on the Farm Cornwall website during 2026
- Acknowledgement in our newsletters throughout the year
This is a great option for businesses, organisations and individuals who want to show their support for Cornwall’s farming community through a single anniversary-year contribution.
Gold 25 Fund
The Gold 25 Fund is for supporters who would like to make a longer-term commitment to Farm Cornwall through a donation of £1,000 or more per year for three years.
This level of support helps strengthen the long-term sustainability of our work and allows us to continue responding to increasingly complex and ongoing challenges facing farmers, farm workers and rural families in Cornwall.
The Gold 25 Fund is particularly suited to organisations looking to demonstrate a visible and meaningful commitment to rural wellbeing, agricultural sustainability and Cornwall’s farming communities over a longer period.
Gold 25 supporters will receive:
- Recognition on the Farm Cornwall website and in our newsletters
- Inclusion on our Gold 25 Supporter display used at Farm Cornwall events, including the Royal Cornwall Show 2026
- The opportunity to use the “Gold 25 Supporter of Farm Cornwall” logo in your own communications as part of your Corporate Social Responsibility activity
- Recognition as a supporter in the Farm Cornwall Annual Report and Accounts
