How we can help your farming.

Farm Cormwall can provide practical advice on animal health and welfare and disease control. We are trained in the use of FECPAC kits to understand the worm burden of sheep and cattle and reduction of the use of anthelmintics.

We can advise on the establishment and management of grazing systems, especially herbal leys, and are often asked to help interpret the rules of various environmental schemes ‘on the ground’. We can provide advice on yard infrastructure and slurry/manure management, including SSAFO compliance, and we can help farmers prepare for inspections, eg Red Tractor. We can attend inspections or enforcement visits where needed to provide support.

When we have an understanding of your farm, we are better placed to help and be able to provide the right advice. We are equally happy sat around the kitchen table, or being out on the farm; we do not judge and we love to see the breadth and variety of farming across Cornwall.
