How we can help with community.

Could you do with some company?

We all know the commitment to successful farming is 168 hours per week, 52 weeks of the year. Often this might lead us, or our family members, to become isolated with few opportunities to socialise and just have a ‘chin-wag’.

Farm Cornwall, Cornish Ladies In Wellies, and Farm Cornwall Next Generation are remarkable community groups dedicated to supporting each other through various activities, social events and initiatives. These groups allow for a strong sense of community, offering invaluable support to individuals involved in farming, and play a crucial role in reducing isolation in these communities.

Farm Cornwall, provides resources, advice, and a network of support for the farming community.

Cornish Ladies In Wellies, is a vibrant and dynamic group of over 500 farming women from all over Cornwall. Run entirely by volunteers this group is passionate about friendship and mutual support. It is a private group for women offering a safe space for those who may need it.

Farm Cornwall Next Generation focuses on the younger members of the farming community. This group of over 350 young farmers aged 25 to 40 plus years provides mentorship, training, and networking opportunities for young farmers as well as a wide range of social activities.
