Downs Farm is home to a spring block-calving herd of 300 cows, managed on a rotational grazing system that relies heavily on grazed grass, with fodder beet used at the shoulders of the grazing season. The farm extends to 270 acres, with additional land rented to produce winter silage, and forms part of a wider dairy business with other dairy units based in Devon.
Come along to learn more about the farming system, enjoy a walk around the farm and meet other members of Cornwall's farming community. For more details and to RSVP, https://fb.me/e/7BO7d862O.
