Welcoming Two New Trustees

April 23, 2026

We are delighted to welcome two new trustees to our Board, strengthening our expertise and connection to the farming community.

James Kittow joins us as a fifth-generation butcher and farmer. He runs a small herd of Devon suckler cattle alongside his family’s butchery cutting plant, supplying high-quality meat. James is also passionate about education, regularly supporting events that share the farm-to-fork journey, and has a strong interest in sustainable farming practices, including soil health, water quality and conservation.

Having previously benefited from Farm Cornwall’s work, including the Future Farming Programme, James brings valuable first-hand insight into the impact of our support. He is proud to support our continued work as the only agricultural charity in Cornwall, particularly as farmers face increasing challenges both in their businesses and personal wellbeing.

Clare Green also joins our Board, bringing extensive financial and governance experience. As Chief Financial Officer at Cornish Mutual, Clare works closely with the farming community across the South West. She has also served as a trustee for seven years at iSight Cornwall, where she saw first-hand the positive impact charities can have locally.

Clare lives on her family’s farm near Falmouth, where they keep suckler beef cattle alongside a range of diversified activities. She is looking forward to contributing to our work and supporting those navigating the many challenges within the sector.

As we mark our 25th year, we are delighted to welcome James and Clare to the Board and look forward to the experience and insight they will bring.
