Farm Cornwall Ladies in Wellies enjoyed a fantastic evening paddle from the picturesque St Winnow to historic Lostwithiel. Kindly organised and hosted by Georgina Stephens, the weather held fair for a mix of double and single kayaks as well as two brave ladies on stand up paddleboards. With the incoming and outgoing tides helping to reduce the paddle effort required, there was plenty of time to relax riverside for refreshments and excellent Pizza by Kernow Forno. The event was a huge success with much laughter and conversation. Plans are in progress to do our best run this event again on another date, subject to the timing of tides, in particular for those who could not make the July date.
