On Friday 13th February, Edward will be travelling to London to attend an event at the Farmers Club in support of Sam Stables, who will complete his extraordinary solo walk from Ross-on-Wye Livestock Market to London, covering 142 miles over five days on the 13th of February. Sam will undertake this challenge to raise funds for the National Federation of Young Farmers Clubs following the government’s decision to withdraw funding.

The walk highlights the vital role that Young Farmers Clubs play in giving young people opportunities to socialise, develop new skills, and build confidence, resilience, and community spirit, values that resonate across farming communities.

Edward, who has been involved with Young Farmers personally and professionally, will be attending the event to represent our charity and show support for the organisation and the wider farming community.
